I had to buy some cheesie rope yesterday and this was the label--the rope even looked like climbing gear!!WOW!!

I guess it's not easy to get a half-inch synthetic rope that only holds 310 lbs., unless you measure the rope the way the Brits did - i.e. the circumferance, not the diameter. Oh well, look on the bright side. It's probably more resistent to sunlight than the stuff we climb with.
