An inspiring article from Climbing to whet your appetite. Lots of fantastic Peter Noebels photos to put you on the routes. Peter now lives in Portland not far from my home in Seattle.

A classic Noebels photo of the first ascent of the ever-popular Steve's Arete at Windy Point.

Lots more juice from the Lemmon to run down your psyche on the Arizona Appreciation Thread.

Nice photos everyone! Glad Lycra is gone or I might not still be climbing. I think the climbing there is great.

cool article mr Grossman, Thanks

I don't get the use of initials instead of the names of the climbers.

That is a local habit that arose after the first Steiger guidebook that used them to report FA information.

I think Steve's Arete was one of the most fun climbs I have ever done. How can you go wrong climbing a double overhanging arete with your left hand/foot on one side and your right hand/foot on the other side. So much fun!

I spent a week there a few years ago and loved the variety of climbing available.
