Forecast is for ungodly hot early this week, cooling to highs in the low 80s by Saturday. There are a number of west-facing options (good for early morning action) and some northern aspect potential as well, but the main problem is that it is probably four or five hours from Moab, including some sketchy roads that may test my truck-zilla.

I will be 'splorin' for much of June, so I will be sure to start bugging you soon: I will keep watching the weather. I would really like to head out there with a partner rather than solo so I would consider tipping the ropegun in terms of applying the abuse to just my gear. That said, I will be happy to hang the rope but I may just stand in the etriers, like ALL DAY, unless I'm following. I kill it on TR. Gas, etc. are not an issue at all.

My #1 droog and I made an attempt via dirtbike in early December, but the looong approach and short days coupled with a strong case of the snaileye to make for a long day of taking the gear for a walk.

Also: Can anyone tell me if the Hormones in Waiting line on Elvis's Hammer is N-facing? 92 degrees for tomorrow isn't thaat hot, right?
