By way of contrast, the Yosemite Gigapixel is a mere 17 gigs.

There are at least two people shots. One is in one of the red circles. The other shows up if you click the "tour" button. There's also an eagle and two or three huts.
David Breashears made a beautiful one of Mt. Everest. You can view it in full-screen mode.

There are a bunch of people at the station on top of the Aguille du Midi and also on a snow just right of the Midi where the tunnel comes out. I don't see anybody over at the Heilbronner station on the Italian side though it looks like it is under construction.

Man I zoomed in on the dude with his snowshoes...I could easily see his wedding ring and mustache!
Yeah I have some routes picked out too...but they've probably already been done.
I have checked out a few routes I've skied though.

Amazing! Those rock spires to the right of the Mt. Blanc hold some of the finest alpine rock routes on Earth. The climbs on the Grand Capucin, the Red Pillar, Mt. Maudit are all visible to the level of being able to see the cracks on those routes. I zoomed in on the summit of the Grand Cap, and it reminded me of sitting up there years ago after climbing O Sole Mio.
Amazingly, it is possible to zoom in on the excellent rock routes on the south face of the Aiguille du Midi.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think I found the ice runnels in the Supercouloir.
Just checked out the headwall (forgot the French name, but I think it is candlestick) on the Freney Pillar. Didn't see any climbers on it, but it is stunning how close one can see the cracks going up through it.
One can also take a trip from the exit ridge of the Midi, all the way down the Vallee Blanche to the Mer de Glace, which is one of the longest (and must be wildest) ski runs in the world.
Thanks for the share of the intimate details of some of the finest alpine terrain anywhere.

Wow. Go to to dot in the middle under the Aiguille Blanche de Peutrey. Zoom in on the dot, a cable car, then follow the cables to the left or start at the Italian terminal and follow the cables right. You will come to the famous hanging tower. Way to build a ski lift! The support cables strung from the rongnon to Tour Ronde.
The details on the upper part of the Eckpfeiler show the Bonatti/Gobbi, our route(Coqueniot/Shea, the Cecchinel/Nominee and the Boivin/Gabbarrou. The ice looks thin though.
The start to the Super Couloir looks pretty rough. Where's the ice?
