After traveling for work, I've found myself in California without my Reid guide. Does anyone have a topo they could send me? I briefly looked online, but figured someone might have it on here.

Thanks

There's a 1989 version on p.85 of this PDF:
http://www.harvardmountaineering.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/1989.pdf
And some stories of working on the route, which can also be found at

squatch's 2010 trip report and my photo overlay:

P.S. The Ho and DNB are closed currently for bird nesting, above the first 5 pitches.

Have you done both the Steck-Salathe and Chouinard-Herbert on Sentinel? Windchill over to the right of the Widow's Tears? They're not as long, but what about Bridalveil East or Beggar's Buttress?

Not much out there which is north facing and is as big and freeable as Middle Cathedral. I guess you could get-your-slab-on for Galactic Hitchhiker? or RWNF of Half Dome?

Edit: does anyone have an exact list of routes on MCR which are closed? The NPS page just says "Closure includes “North Buttress,” “Direct North Buttress,” “Ho Chi Minh Trail,” as well as the Kat Walk above these routes." So do climbs that go through the U-Shaped Bowl to top out near the left end of the Kat Walk remain open? Like the Kor-Beck to the top? Or Stoner's Highway?

Jim - thanks for suggestions. Adding all of these to the list!

I miss not having the valley close, guess I can settle for the Black :)

Beggar's Buttress is really hard for the grade but good. Mary's Tears suggestion is great too. Maybe the best.

That is an exact list. The other routes are open.
They did a nice job on 3/17 clarifying the section of the Kat Walk that is closed.

Yes, all these are open.

Bridalveil East will be too wet.
There was a fair amount of snow on the south side of the Valley in shady spots last weekend. So I wouldn't recommend Sentinel routes just yet due to snow in the Sentinel descent. (Unless people are sure it has melted out during this week).
I'm not sure how snow might affect descending from Wind Chill / Stanford Point.
I'm seeing forecast highs in mid 70s, so the sunny side routes should be good before it gets hotter?
