The English guitarist and songwriter John Renbourn has died aged 70 at his home in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. About 10 years back, Heidi & I patched up my old turn-table and played a couple Pentangle albums from the 1960's. Then, the question was: whatever became of John Renbourn?

After some searching, we found he was in the habit of doing small concerts in Healdsburg, as part of an annual U.S. & Canada tour. We stayed in the small B & B (Camilia Inn) that he stayed in & attended the annual concert along with another 20 or so fans in the B & B's parlour. Heidi got to share the garden with him the next morning.

He appeared to be 70-75 at the time. Amazed to see he died at 70.
