Jon Schaffer rappelling off of Torrisimo, a small but very slender spire between Torre de la Medialuna and Cerro Torre. On Friday, my last day in Patagonia, we teamed up to make the first ascent of the spire, named years ago by Silvo Karo. It was for once a fairly low stress day, and a nice mellow way to finish off a wild season. We named our route "Donini's Anatomy." It is nice to name something for Jim, someone who has contributed a lot in this range, but the name is playful - If you know Jim, or rather know the rumours about him, and see Torrisimo from the right angle, then you'll understand! #vidapatagonia #nosummitnoparty

Many years ago, while perhaps already marinating in premature old fartiness, I was surprised to see lighthearted crag-type names given to major mountaineering routes. Not classy, I thought.
The Gunks can have Dick's Prick, but it still seems wrong to me to essentially name a mountain feature Donini's Weenie.
How about Aiguille de Donini?

I trust the spire, being granite, is still standing at rigid attention. Ah....the human anatomy...always fails the test of time.
I'm fine with Colin....humor is often absent in the alpine realm.

If you knew what the medical procedure for reducing a priapism was you might have second thoughts.
