Super fine effort! Colin has long been an alpine maestro and Alex is showing what exceptional rock climbing ability can accomplish in the mountains.

a light rain falls this morning.
on my hill.
so out i went with my liquid soap.
i like to blow bubbles in the rain
and see which ones persevere
through adversity.
after about 4 minutes of mediocre entertainment,
one bubble took.
it left the porch and
entered the mist.
up it went against the atmospheric gradient.
then it came back down and began it's
wayward march.
with me in tow.
i offered no encouragement.
like god, i just spectate.
it went through some low sugar pines,
and then into manzanita thicket.
i couldn't believe the perfect path that it chose.
all the while maintaining the surface
tension required of the rain onslaught.
i swear it traveled all the way
into my neighbor's yard.
and i'm just walking behind,
gazing in awe and wonder.
jenny looks out her window
and smiles.
cause she knows
that warriors of thought and
of action
pursue errant paths.
