Lunch Box Leichtfuss

Jonny first came to the Leichtfuss Casa in 1982. Lunchbox was 5. So many good years and great times.

Say Howdy, Pocoloco1,

Gotta say, when you are out on the rock in God's country you should never be bored. Tho even stuck in a city with an old friend you still could not be bored.

Life is good when old friends come calling.

We ended the day with home made enchiladas, rice, beans and cold Modelo Negros in iced mugs. A time to recall the good times and share plans for more great things that life has to offer. Tho none of know what that is right now. It's cool cause friends and life somehow take care of each other and the future.

I know pocoloco1. Hope all is well. We are a tribe and we feel the vibe.

My post here is about a friend that came over from England when he was like 19 or 20. He lived with us for a month or so and put up with our 4 crazy kids. Jonny went on to be a great climber and human being.

He just now stayed with us again and put up with 3 more kiddos that could drive you crazy if you didn't have patience and know they thought the world of you. He's lived thru two generations of Leichtfuss's. More power to him.

The first photo is of Seth Leichtfuss who was 5 when Jonny came here. Now Seth's youngest is 5, Juliana, who adored JW.

The Climbing Community is a rare and special species.

Cheers, lynnie

Bill made a great decision. I can't think of two people I'd rather spend time with, especially while "processing". Prayers and thoughts of comfort for you at this time.

Ask them to relax on our plush living room suite then enjoy the Moab view including the snow covered La Sals.
Promise Lynnie...there will be furniture when you visit.

Nice shares, Dean and Susan. What I wouldn't give for a climbing wall :)

Susan, furniture is highly over rated. But if you need it, some of my favorite pieces have been do over thrift shoppe stuff. Wish I were there to help. I LOVE decorating! Cheers, Lynnie

Edit: Love your new place Susan and Ferretlegger. Awesome!

Eat, Drrrink and be merry.

These are two of my best buds from High School. I hadn't seen the guy on the left in thirty-five years. I made some pot roast and we drank much wine. I'm glad, cause he died of a heart attack just a couple months later, last June.

Rip Joe, and save me a spot.

I don't get many visitors; but when I do, I ask them what they would like to cook for dinner, go to the store, lay it out for them to cook and clean up the mess.

Tobia, some of us (me) love to visit folks like yo. We can pick out whatever we want to eat, you pay for it and then we can cook it exactly how we like it. Yes!
