Jesus Cam, when you jump onto ST, which is not very often, you being the entire gang with you. What a nice walk down memory lane. Appreciate the effort to share these wonderful images with us.

Thanks, Dean.

Thanks, Joe. You know, Joe, my feeling is most of the stuff on ST is ridiculously UN-engaging. That reflects on the person doing the posting, I guess. My two cents.

These were pics that were really easy to get to. I have dozens and dozens more. Plus a mountain of video. Gotta start digging.

The pic I really want to post is Silvo Karo and Craig Luebben hanging out together in Huaraz.

Cheers,
Cam

P.S. I need to send you copy of my Harding audio. It's a riot. Three in the morning we're watching tennis, the French open or some such, and drinking Warren's pre-made Manhattans (he had about two gallons worth of frozen Manhattans in the freezer----basically, big square blocks of ice.

Cam: "Uh, Warren, those huge blocks are all frozen Manhattans?"

Warren looks at me sideways.

Then his index finger shoots straight up to emphasize the point.

"We know what we're doing."

Well, that was entertaining. Thanks

Seems like I've climbed with 10-12 of those folks, in the past.

Terrific Cam. You must have been considering the idea of a book comprised of all these images. You probably have even more. So often climbing shots reveal nothing of the person whereas yours are full to the brim! Thanks so much.

Great Stuff, thanks for Posting this collection of photos.
On an early Trip to India,I was in Darjeeling staying in a little musty room. And would have my wake-up Cup at this little shack built on stilts perched on a Hillside, with one Window Framing the incredible views of what I remember as being K2?
"Coffee please" What? no Coffee in Darjeeling, well make it Tea.I walked up and over to the "Everest Museum" another little Musty Room,Where I was transported back in Time. One of the things I remember seeing was a pair of custom, Hand Made Leather Mountaineering Boots that belonged to Willi Unsoeld
Just a Pair of Boots you say?.Yes but they ended abruptly, just below the Laces.amazing.Ken.

Echo what Tami said about that Beckey Shirt.

Glad to see Pinnacles in that who's who. I cross posted (embed) it on mudncrud to show the young guys how those tables were originally designed to be used.

Just a side story. When I first got to CO Springs and was climbing at Garden of the Gods, Becker and crew showed up. I put him on a hip belay. One of his crew put a sticht plate on my chalk bag belt. I was a NOOB and a bit dazzled. It was simply an over hand knotted belt. When everyone turned around to watch him climb I went back to the hip belay. Fer had me lower him. Took six weeks for the rope burns to heal.
