Jack Bruce is gone at 71, of liver complications. This is kind of a cool personal video that shows his virtuosity.

Another good one is gone.
Jack Bruce was one the best bass players I've heard in both the rock and jazz circles. He was a gifted vocalist as well.

I was lucky enough to see Jack with West, Bruce and Laing in '72. Incredible presence. Truly one of the greats.
