Isabel Suppe, climber and author of "Starry Night" will be speaking about her experience following an accident in 2010 in which she fell 1100 feet down a mountain face in the Andes, and dragged herself to safety over the following two days. Isabelle will be speaking about her fall, ensuing rescue, and her recovery and return to climbing.
This event is hosted by the Cal Hiking and Outdoors Society (chaosberkeley.org) and the California Climbing Team (climbing.berkeley.edu) and is open to everyone- we'd love to get folks from the rest of the Supertopo community!
Wednesday, October 1st 7:30-9PM, Dwinelle Hall Room 160

Thanks for the tip. I was not aware of her experience. Unfortunately, I am pretty far from Berkeley these days.
How did you get my address? :-}
