I have no idea if there is any danger from long term use but if you ever have an accute attack of acid stomach climbers chalk really works in the short term.

Pissing on your feet helps knock it back a bit but won't cure a bad case..

Duct tape patches often peel off. Put layers of duct tape on both the inside and outside of the pack or other item to be patched. then take a large paper/office style stapeler and staple the crap out of your duct tape patch. now add a layer of duct tape to cover up the sharp ends of the staples. Bomb proof!

Aveeno baby diaper rash creme is the new go-to lip balm - pure zinc oxide = no bad taste.
It also works great for intardnet butthurt.

While at the crag...

If a "pitbull/mastiff?/rotty" type dog,

Happens to "attack" and lock it's jaws on anyone in your party. And you need it to release...

Stick a finger up it's ass. (The dog's)

Yep.

SC - snapped neck that will solve most dog problems.

And the athletes foot cure sounds creepy enough to work.
Maybe total immersion by soaking your feet in a bucket of pee
overnight would be a sure fire cure.

If you have the right diameter Weedwhacker wire it makes for bombproof trigger replacement on your cams. select The right length and then burn the ends so that it can't pull out. If it breaks just re-burn the end.
