Are you planning to climb any Minarets, or did you climb any last summer after mid-July?

If so, you can help in the search for the remains of hiker/climber Matthew Greene by (when safe and convenient) taking pictures of pages from summit registers in the Minarets from between ~7/12/13 and 7/31/13 .

As many may be aware, Matt was doing hikes/climbs in the Mammoth area last summer while waiting for his car to be repaired; he disappeared on July 17, 2013. The main theory is that he had a climbing/hiking accident somewhere in the Ritter Range or on his way in. His friends and family continue to search for his remains.

We're trying to get the names of people who might have spoken with Matt before he disappeared, who might have spoken with or seen him on 7/17/13, or who might have noticed something soon thereafter. This has already been done by SAR for the Banner and Ritter summit registers, but it hasn’t been done for the Minarets. We’re especially interested in pictures of pages from Clyde Minaret because more people climb it.

We're not primarily looking for Matt's signature -- we know he climbed Riegelhuth on 7/8/13 and Clyde on 7/11/13 and that he didn't sign registers on Adams or Michael Minaret -- though it would be a big lead if we found that he'd climbed some other Minaret.

Not all Minarets have summit registers -- here’s a post with more info and details about the summit registers of the various Minarets:

So, if you take any such pictures, please let me know. Please pass this on to people you know who are climbing Minarets. Thanks!

(When we get pictures of the pages for each Minaret, I'll update this post or thread.)

It's been a long time since I looked in here.

Did he sign on Riegelhuth & Clyde or do you just know from other source?

Is it known whether he climbed Adams or Michael or just that he didn't sign.

EDIT:

From 8-1-2013 trip http://highwire.org/~galic/hiking/minarets/pridham/

After not finding a register on Starr Minaret a day earlier, I was happy to discover a white container made of solid plastic and placed under the summit rocks. It appears that Pridham Minaret sees very few visitors. Many of the people who signed the register were climbers doing the Minaret Traverse, on their way from Riegelhuth to Kehrlein or Starr, then to other main Minarets. The current register notebook was placed at the summit by Bob Sumner in September 2006, and it still has plenty of empty pages left. The last few entries were from the year 2010 (seven people), then nobody signed up in 2011, and only two people, Natalie Baggins and Jan Rees, visited the peak in 2012 (on September 18). I was the first visitor in 2013. (Natalie in her note said that there was no register on nearby Riegelhuth).

Oops.
