In case anyone is around:
Simon McCartney was Jack Roberts' partner on the North Face of Mt. Huntington in 1978, and the Southwest face of Denali, 1980. He is coming to the States for a personal journey....long story, but he has written a book (as yet unpublished) about those 2 climbs they shared. I know that I am partial to this story, but I think it's going to be a great show, and it's a very interesting story, in particular the "backstory." These were 2 groundbreaking climbs in their day, and their difficulty and commitment still stand the passage of time. Seeing this show with Simon would have been Jack's greatest dream.....if you are in Boulder, don't miss it!
