I don't know. I was looking for something more in the way of a microlicious rainbow ledge.

I think you'll make more money if you leave it in your garage and register it on airbnb.com :)

But then you might need to provide toilet access. Or give them a poop tube?

Might want to look into some liability coverage on that, or at least get a bomber waiver printed up. Just sayin'.

So you're selling your ledge for $275.00? That's a killer deal.

Rent or buy, great deal!

Maybe you could rent it out to Adam Gill - Lord of the Gays! [do you guys remember the banner that Neil and Callum put under their ledge when we climbed Continental Drift?]

This Just In,

That's funny man.

I will be doing a thorough vetting of potential renters. Trust me, there will be profiling involved. It seems most climbers believe in Karma, so stealing my portaledge would be way bad juju.

There is a good likelihood that I will be in need of a ledge this October, unless someone in Bishop has one I can borrow. . .I was thinking about buying one, but would obviously prefer not to!

Locker: Is that some sort of rubber piton??? I can't really see how it works, do you hand place it or use a hammer? What's the best method for getting it deep into a tight crack??? How do you store it??? I don't see any way to clip it to my harness!!!

Seriously guys? A double portaledge is not worth having a pissed off dentist chase you down. That can get real medieval real quick.

This is a Very cool idea! I'll be interested to see how it works out. Makes me want to do some more el cap routes...

Should I rent out my bouldering pads? It's gonna cost more to use the vintage Fish maxipad, once stolen in Las Vegas...

Ha! Just had my first taker. I decided to loan it rather than rent it. The trip sounded too rad and they need the gas money. The ledge is being put in the mail today for a wall up in BC.

Had my attorney write up a waiver, though none was needed as the BD inherent risk pamphlet was still attached and no money has changed hands.
Just one dude loaning another dude a surfboard basically. Stoked for these guys and glad to help. Its better than sitting in my barn all Fall.

Be careful Scott,

There have been other very gracious ST'ers that have gotten burned. Some even death threats.

Just sayin... :)
