Hi everybody,
Was hoping for some beta on the topout and walkoff from the 4th pitch of Pangaea at Lost World. Really just want to avoid as much of the death hike out as possible, but I'm not sure that the top of Pangaea will actually avoid all that much of the hike -- seems like there might still be significant elevation to get back to the parking lot even from the top of the Cold Joint wall. The other part of the question is -- how??? Is there a trail from the topout back to the road/lot?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Did I read you had been in there already?
Its 4 pitches. So you already know it crops the bottom off nicely.
Just do it.

I've never been to the top. Looks like pretty open country up there though. Just don't get eaten by a Sasquatch.

It's easy. Saves what, 400ft of vertical?
When I climbed Pangaea, I hiked down with only the necessities, had lunch
back at the car. It's a great method.
It's also possible to traverse left from the top of the climb to a point
on the trail, near the right side of the Bienvenido Wall. This could be good
if you are doing more climbing down in there afterward.

Those top two pitches are a bit crusty, but its nice to do as Scuffy says. There are a ton of bolted lines down there now, so you can take 20 or so draws/slings and one rope, climb a bunch, then do Pangea out to the rim. This does bypass the big talus slope which is the least fun part of walking out.
