AND WHO SAYS THESE ARE WASTED THREADS ON THE STFORUM? they produce FA's in excellent style and with relatively high entertainment value. Anyone on an FA knows just how deadly boring they can be for the second...

Literally at the base of Half Dome RR. Hennek trailing behind comes upon Doug Robinson and Galen Rowell doing a photo shoot for Nat. Geographic, a total mockup. Obviously a Galen idea here. They don't know or at least DR doesn't know that Hennek is right behind him with a camera. Unfortunately DR put on clothes shortly thereafter. But at least it was a perfect ascent for those moments. And of course, it was a nuts-only first/ perfect ascent!
