If there were rockets fired at me I'd be out watching where they are coming from.
My people have been surrounded by their enemies and outnumbered by more than two hundred to one for nearly seven decades. The only reason we survive is that, man for man and woman for woman, we have the finest defense force in the world.
US Special Forces do joint training ops with the IDF. Israeli combat pilots do joint training ops with the US (sometimes here in Utah at Hill AFB).
We kick serous butt.
Our enemies are cowards that hide behind women and children.
People aren't entirely stupid. When they see the results of return fire (the key word being RETURN) they will say "please go somewhere else to fire your missiles at Israel."

When the bully boyz show up at your front door with a truckload of rockets they want to install in your back yard, I don't think asking politely for them to leave will work.
The choice is between watching your family executed with the final bullet saved for you,or the hope that the IDF will give you a call and a heads up (which is IDF, SOP)before they bomb the rockets.

My point about the request regarded the winning or losing of their hearts and minds. They are drawing return fire right into their support base.
