Just wondering if anyone is available to climb the "big wall" in Reno tomorrow...tried a year ago and they said they couldn't certify on site for lead climbing it. Would much rather pay $22 to climb with a partner than pay $50 to climb a 165' toprope. Been there, done that!

Awwww! Where's the love for the tallest climbing wall in the world? Got skunked on the Big Stone last month - gotta conquer something this year! ;-p

On my list too but no time right now. Good day for it too, overcast with t-storms :)
So if they wouldn't "certify" you to lead it last year, how do you plan to do it now? Or hoping someone who's also "certified" would go with you? I've never been there either so wondering what I'd need to do if I just show up...?

All they want for cert now is $22, release form and a checkout of you and your partner on lead. I haven't been certified there yet, but they said they do it on site at least now...

Headed to Reno this weekend. Would still like to climb if anyone can join. Is there a climbing community there? Seemed like mostly bouldering...I want to conquer that wall!
