Post more photos. I wanted to do that climb for a while now. But its so damn far south...and there are other routes I had more desire to do closer..

Isn't that the route where Beckey wrote in the AAJ that 'one should be mindful of the loose rock if one wants company on the summit'?
Always looked nice but never bothered after reading that description.

Ok, for those of us who are geographically and experientially challenged, where is this Irvine you speak of? I don't recall any good looking granite in the vicinity of the wide streets and overly planned city in Orange County. But I'm intrigued to go check it out if it be there. But it looks a lot like the Sierra Nevada.
