Hi folk,

I am coming over to the States from the UK during August for the best part of a week and would like to know if anyone would be able and willing to rent a boulder mat or two out?

I'm travelling down from a Squamish trip and will be down Tahoe with a few non-climbers and one other climber. Having pads would enable us to get out around planned activities for the rest of the group..... We'll be staying around the west side of the Lake, hoping to get out mornings and evenings.

I can either pick the pad up from a local wall (?), shop, house; I can pay a bit of cash for the pleasure..

Let me know if you can help a fella out!

Regards,

He was looking for a boulder mat, not a sex change.

Is it true that all British climbers have a friend called Crimping Andy?

If you get nutted in a fall you could qualify for both.

Makes me wonder if Yosemite Mountain School in Tuolumne Meadows rents out crash pads? Mine takes up all the room in the passenger seat in my Bimmer and I'd love to be able to rent one up in the Meadows. Anyone know?

Yea. This is awesome. I had't found anything and was starting to think it might not be possible. I have a friend called Crimping Andy.

Thanks for the replies.
