One member of a climbing team trying to free the Salathe Wall, pulled a rock loose from near Mammoth Terraces; the rock struck his climbing partner who was down-climbing toward Heart Ledge, and broke his foot. YOSAR came and got him! He should be fine! Excellent job, YOSAR! THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!

More details can be found here:

Does anyone have any more information or pictures of YOSAR's work up on the rock?

Well done YOSAR
It seems to me there are more rockfall accidents on ElCap these days. I doubt The Stone is changing much. Are climbers becoming less careful? Or just more of them?

It looks like the 'finger' in question is being directed at the photographer.

What's up with dude standing there with his hands in his pockets?

Hands in pocket guy is the ambulance driver eh! Or he's an extreme nut scratcher.

He's a paramedic.

Mellow out guys or the next time you're bleeding to death he'll just stand there and remember what you said here an let you bleed to death.
