trolling works best on stupid lunkers that have been in the lake too long. You are doing them a favor to end their banal existence by smoking them.

For craftier fish, a well tied and presented fly should do the trick.

For everyone else there's tenkara.

Depends on the body of water and desired species. Be more specific.

Trolling can be very effective. Sometimes it's not.

Dynamite sounds good. Gotta limit the gear. Tenkara on flotsam for Yellowtail? Bring your sunscreen.

I once read a story of a guy who speared a black sea bass off of southern ca. He was towed around for a while.
