I hate to pose the obvious question but why are the poor beasts in the slam?
I'm sure it isn't because they can't fend for themselves on the outside.

The only honey badgers I have seen, were cuddled together and acting fairly playful. They were in a zoo and seemed oddly content to be there. A stark contrast to the various videos I have seen over the years.
Edit, I haven't seen the video right above my post. I will have to watch that. That environment looks miserable to be a researcher in.
