Perhaps this thread can be a more polite, with less raving and name calling thread, than my buddy Jebus's call-out.

WML always seemed pleasant, to me. In looking at past posts, he seems polite, and positive, and well spoken, like so-many here are not.

Worse yet, he posts lots of fun trip-reports.

I think many of us are politely curious about why his account was deactivated?

What do they call that? A backhanded compliment?

Wml rules. A nice guy who's stoke for climbing shines through all the bs.
A frequent contributer of trip reports for us to oogle.

He made a mistake, he knows it.

Please bring him back.

Can somebody please cut through the chase and enlighten me? I read through the other post and couldn't find this "mistake". Big Mike what mistake is it I missed, for those of us a little slower than the rest.

Thanks,
Arne

That's the problem. He doesn't wanna talk about it. Hence the idle speculation thread. Lol

Otherwise i would have elaborated long ago...

What Arne said.

WML/Weston has always been a positive force here, and it's hard to see why he, or anyone of the dozens of others who try to make this a good place, would get axed for one mistake.

What is going on?

I'm for anyone who posts about climbing!

But, I have no idea what went on publicly or back channel. Maybe they were intolerant of something he said, and then he became intolerant of something they said back to him. Who knows? I certainly don't!

Well put; I really appreciate his participation here. That and his avatar always brought a smile.

Jebus and/or portent seem (to me) to have indicated that they may know something. If they do they ain't sayin'.

Having said that, I'm not very good at understanding a lot of what goes on here so...

hey there say, ... don't know what's going on, but, i am always willing to help appreciate someone here... :)

i still always think of myself as a guest here, so, whatever happens:
i just try to keep with the flow, and learn if we can help, and wait it out, as even keel as i can, so just trust for the owners to always work things out, as they visit here when they can...

occasional things may surface, about any of us... and misunderstandings can happen... but there is always something good to appreciate with folks...
and things can get smoothed and settled... ready for 'quilt work' patches...

here's hoping it all works out, whatever happened...

that's what is good about 'quilts', you can patch and help any part of them, and they always look special, and last for years, :)

WML seems like a good egg to me. He** we've all got our idiosyncrasies.
Isn't that a requirement to be a climber?

Wonderful TRs even though they make me fell like a wimp.
Hope to see him again.
