Now come on people. I meant this to be a fun and frivolous thread. Okay I targeted the said names in the thread head, but it was meant to be in humor.
Now behave yourselves or I will, I will, I will, nuke the thread, or at least take my ball home and you can all kick cans.
Lighten up guys, for me it is going on 2am. I am just having fun with people I have agreed with, sparred with or someday may even climb with.
But, I sort of do like Jan's lyrics, for better of for worse.
And yes, I am a left-wing ultra communist atheistic antarctic (is that how you spell anarchy or am I just freezing my ass of to get to Vinson Massif?).
Otherwise, remember for most of you I am one step ahead of you at least. Timewise.

Life is about doing the best you can, being the best you can be and supporting others so they too can live life to the fullest. If people don't measure up to our individual standards, well, perhaps we have a ways to go too.
My best friend says that the most important thing is to love one another, not tear them down. Much inner peace along with a lot of joy comes from doing just that.

That's bullshit Norton, and you know it. If you, or Apogee, or anyone, wants to banter and post silly stories under an assumed name, no one cares. But when you start calling people out on a personal basis -- as Apogee has done repeatedly with Ron -- then hiding behind an avatar is the worst form of cowardice.
If I want to call Ron out for polluting ninety percent of the threads on ST with thoughtless drivel, I'll do it as David Harris, not as "Ghost." For some gormless coward to do it while hiding behind mommy's skirts, as Apogee does, is to deserve to be outed. And you know this.

TGT, I had lost all hope in things when the loser-in-chief was re-elected. I still think the whole f*#king thing had to have been rigged. I mean, how the hell do you get re-elected on a record that he had?
Really, I blame the media. They refuse to be honest about his failures, as they used to be with Bush. The bias is very telling.
The good news is that this has created an undercurrent of resentment towards establishment Gov't and the media. People are waking up, and they are angry.
The Tea Party, despite being marginalized by the media, is rising. We do not make headlines because they don't want us to. But look at local elections. Look at state-wide elections. Look at the power that Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Bobby Jindal wield.
Rand Paul got a standing ovation at UC Berkeley last week.
The truth has a certain power that people can understand and relate to. Rhetoric is getting old and rotten.
I'm not a big fan of the Republican party, I'm more personally identified as a conservative, so I tend to lean to Repubs. Right now the battle in the party is a healthy one. We are purging the establishment as#@&%es who just want gov't jobs, and replacing them with people who really respect the country, her people, and the Constitution.
People are waking up, Wendell. I see it. And there is hope, my brother!

The Military is a socialist entity. They are civil servants with universal healthcare. Werner is a civil servant paid with federal taxes as are all NPS workers. Social work is what keeps helicopters doing rescues, ambulances on the roads and roads themselves. Most of you old meat sandwiches were twisted into believing in the New American Frontier and Individualist illusion. Without social policy you would just be victims.... Society took care of you every day of your life and will until you die. I suggest you start acknowledging your good fortune and quit biting the hand that feeds you.
