I tracked down JB's photobucket account.
In amongst the joke pics etc there are many rare gems and historical images.
He has his own published photographs too.
There are no captions, but if you look at the actual URLs there is usually a one word clue as to the subject matter.
To get the highest resolution, you need to click on "view original".
I don't think the site allows hotlinking, so I downloaded one of them to post as a tease. http://s50.photobucket.com/user/johnbachar/library/?sort=3&page=1#/user/johnbachar/library/?sort=3&page=1&_suid=139166259853806973674554940821

Cool. Direct linking works.

There was one I haven't seen much of before:

Biotch,
you must lead a dim existence if, for your entertainment, you choose to pry into dead people's private accounts...their photo buckets, no less...and then splatter your find on a public forum.

I am not sure about the legalities of your action, but I am quite certain about your taste.
It smacks of voyeurism.

Pa,

Not sure if you were joking. Great to wake up and see these photos!

In case you didn't know, Bachar lives on forever.

Pa, photobucket is a public website, if you want to have your images private you can do so and only people invited to the private gallery could view them. Biotch looking at a climbing legends pictures says he enjoys climbing and I'm grateful for him sharing with the rest of us.

Sometimes climbing is way too serious, that picture to me is what climbing is all about.

Righteous, thanks!

Always intrigued me that Bachar and Kauk did the mantle on ML totally differntly, with JB using the left-hand mantling method most of us end up using, and Kauk (and Moffat) using that hateful, tiny crimp.

Sorry to hurt anybody's feelings, but I'm guessing the majority of these images were already posted to the forum by John himself. If there is a worry that the images might get in the wrong hands, someone should archive them etc as was done with Blitzo's photos.
