Canine Cliffs, a forgotten area in the Gallatin Canyon.
Most of the routes were done in the early/mid 80s....
A few more new lines were done this spring, including this new bolty....
I liked Chiloe's shot of thunderpussy in the last thread...It'd be cool if others would contribute.... stories would be cool too...

The shot below is by Dan Ferguson. Story is, it was taken on
my second, successful attempt at First Best. The first
attempt had ended suddenly a few seconds earlier when I guessed
wrong about sequence, pitched off, and stopped just a foot off
the deck thanks to a solid belayer and #00 TCU.
Not so much drama with this one, topping out on the Tower one
afternoon after a day filled with meetings about science,
climate change and the fate of the world.

Didn't have the camera the other days I was there, really enjoyed my time though. Got to have christmas dinner with the guys at Plonk, and a lovely few days relaxing with the Wells family

Nice, thanks for posting up. Hopefully more will step forward...Blinny maybe? Conrad perhaps?
Chiloe - I've seen many pitch off those opening moves of Fist Best. Ankle damage has occured on that fall more than once.
Some Homesake Pass action from last summer...digging out a few older ones...

With temps in the high 90s though out most of the west the following images are to cool you off and get energized for the coming winter. This is Winter Dance as it formed mid December 04. It is perhaps Hyalite Canyon's most amazing route. It is four pitches in length.
This snapshot was taken by Steve House on the day we climbed it. This is the crux pitch, #3. It felt like a 5.11 pump with the mind riot of A3.

Kingsbury, great photos. I pulled off once on I-90, south side, along the river & ran into this beautiful eldo pink rock with some really nice routes on it. MT has some hidden gems.rg

Thanks for nice comments everyone.
I had been enjoying the photo threads on this board, so I figured I'd share some photos of my own...and a few of my friends...
I like the NC photo thread aswell, is there other 'ode to states' photo threads out there?
I also liked the 'ode to roofs' photo thread. Which makes my wonder, is there is a 'OW photo thread' or a 'chimney thread' ect.?
Here are a few older ones....
Face Cadet, Gallatin Tower
This route starts just slightly right of the Tower's standard route, on the thin face. This TCU or a pink tri-cam is the suggested gear, then then 1 bolt just above the framing of this photo. A bit spicy...3 pieces in 65 feet...

OK, so there's only 4 routes pictured there, but that's like 57.63% of the known legit wide roof cracks out there, and from what I understand the rest are at Woodson.

Nice link, that thing looks gnar!
so I was looking at Chiloe's shot of the Gallatin Tower, and thought I'd point this out:
The route 'Father's Day' on the tower passes a blocky roof. Now there are a few less blocks. (refrigerator sized pieces lay at the base....)

Now:
I don't have any good shots of fathers day before the blocks fell out....but there is another on still attached under the roof that looks s-c-e-t-c-h-y!
