So Cal screenings later this fall.
With respect to regional screening I hope San Luis Obispo is considered So Cal. I would really love to see this film.
Perhaps my local climbing gym can help to find a venue?

maybe even PM the ST user maculated? She helps manages SLO-op.
fingers crossed,

I enjoyed this very much! I learned even more about the climb and about Ammon; more than is in the movie, because I got to talk with Jeff, and he explained more in the question and answer period after the movie. But there was plenty of great material in the movie, too. Even for someone who has been curious about the climb for decades.
Thanks to Jeff and all the people who contributed to the film. And for letting us share it with all the usual suspects. Plus a few special guests from beyond the usual radius. And I can testify that klaus did indeed raise a brew to Ammon. :-)

If I understood correctly, Steve Grossman wanted an apology from the FA team after the route has seen a second ascent and it was confirmed that the route was in fact a pretty damn hard one? Shouldn't he be issuing one since it turned out climbers of that day totally under-estimated difficulty of aid on the route?
Personally, I would hate to seek approval from some random people who act like they own the place. Not many climbers (including myself) are social enough to go through the process of seeking out friendships and approval from peers just to get on some rock climb and not be harassed.

Great seeing you Jeff, so good I came back for seconds.
Cool to think Ammon had the whole room laughing at clips, keeping the adventure alive.
It was a treat to see him at the last Bay Area showing, for Q/A, but this time he was there in spirit.
Kait is a bawse!
