Yeah I'm not a big fan of starting OT threads myself but something interesting happened to me the other day that made me laugh & I thought I'd share. I recently bought a place & have been doin all kinds of cleanup, renos, etc. To put things in perspective the place was rented by climbers for probs the last 9 yrs so there's a lot to do. Anyways, I was rebuilding the deck & moved some random pots that were left behind when I found this half buried in a little pile of potting soil under one of the pots.
Any ideas what this could be?!?! Clear liquid sealed in a vial in a mini ziploc? Maybe 1/8 of an oz. I was thinking some sort of acid or jesus tears or maybe its some sort of diffuser essential oil or something. I have no idea. Maybe someone here's done lots of drugs or has heard of this "good fortune"? I have no intentions of testing it out but am super curious as to what the hell it is. I figured since a bunch of dirtbags lived in the place before maybe some dirtbags on here may know something? Brownie was gonna try it out but I advised against it until we had more info & told him he was probably gunna die for sure, or maybe not because it is called good fortune!
I'll probably just chuck it, but was wondering if anyone has any stories about finding or maybe partaking in mystery substances or the like.

The place i was bouldering at yesterday, there was a rotten condom with some small spherical objects inside - obviously drugs. Just destroy it if youre concerned it may fall into the wrong hands.

OK, you got me curious, too.

My guess is it's one of the above. It totally makes sense: the crashpad of a bunch of dirtbagging climber hippys depending on a vial of oil to improve their life rather than going out and getting a damn job.
(That's not intended to be as bitter as it sounds...really!)

What Elcap said.
Have fun!
I don't think one small drop of anything bad for you is really going to eff you up. So, try it. Worst case nothing happens.

My experience with good fortune, and I've squandered my share, is to not waste it, take just enough, and then pass it on.
And maybe have a designated driver.
YMMV.

I can picture those dirtbags now...
My good fortune. I've lost it. I'm useless with out it.
You've had it all along.
What do you mean?
Remember that time you flashed Piranha Teeth? Or that fall on Widow Maker where you stopped upside down 3 feet off the ground?
Maybe I don't need a vial of silly oil for good fortune. Now where's my lucky rabbits foot?

In feng shui, water, usually flowing, is meant to facilitate the flow of chi and 'good fortune'
Or its LSD, in either case: win!

Even though I do my best to do everything wrong in life, I still have more Good Fortune that I know what to do with. I wish there was a way to pass some of it along.

Wayno, perhaps we can let you take a sniff while you prepare the carne asada? You could bring good fortune to the psyche ledge gathering, heheh. We ran into chief yesterday @ Rona & he was saying something about wanting the party to go deep?
Otherwise sprock sounds like a candidate!
I wonder if there's a lab that regular humans like me could have something like this checked out? Maybe if I took it to the cop shop they would do something with it?
Rolf, thanks. I've got a bunch to do but luckily I'm living at the crag so I do feel as though I have good fortune. Maybe it was just a reminder :-)
