We are still shy of getting the full Planet Granite match, so I am thinking of selling my motorcycle and giving ALL the money to the ASCA. Retail value is in the $1500-2000 range. Which is not enough/worth it for me to sell it to a stranger (this things delivers at least 3K worth of torque-y fun). But if it goes to the SuperTopo/ASCA community, AND that money is matched by PG so that we are in the 3-4K range... then totally worth it!

 Honda 1999 VTR 1000 (996 cc)
 38,XXX miles
 30-40 mpg
 some cracked plastic and minor scrapes but runs great
 located in San Anselmo CA
 stoopid fast

yeah…me too.

38K miles. That machine is just hitting it's stride. Take decent care of it and it's good for another 50K easy.

This bike is an incredible deal for a great cause. It has been garaged, and with regular oil changes (Mobil One works great in my Superhawk and makes shifting smoother) it will run like a top for at least another 60,000 miles.
It also has an upgraded rear shock, so if you were to upgrade the front shock springs (a relatively inexpensive upgrade, especially considering the price Chris is selling it for) you would have a bike that accelerates and handles almost as well as a Ducati, for a fraction of the price.
