From everything I've read (Hudon, Taco, etc), Totem cams seem like a great option for tricky aid placements but...nobody seems to have them. Both e-tailers that come up in searches show them backordered and none of my local shops (or what's left of them) seem to have them.

Anyone have any idea where to get them?

To add, not looking for the Totem Basic, alien style, I'm looking for the Totems.

Buy from Totem directly or Email Totem and see if any retailers have recently received a shipment and go there. Good luck.

Whoh, I see that they're $80 now. Had 6 of them out yesterday and when my partner commented on how nice they were, I said for $420 they'd better be":-) Should have used $480 in there.

Next Adventure in Portland, Oregon carries them. Once you use them for a day you get pretty attached to them. FAR superior to the other cams out there, they lock so well in questionable placements and dont walk either. I have a set and will be buying more to replace my BD and Metolius cams.

Thanks guys.

I've looked at the Totem website but it's awful. Can't tell if they have them, don't have them, or really even how to buy them. Oh well. Hopefully a local shop or someone like Backcountry decides to carry them.

And Studly, your comments are why I want them..that and some of the pictures Hudon's had of them in action. Definitely look like they stick where others would pop.

They will be available eventually but right now I think they are suffering from their own success and can't keep up with demand.

Thanks Mark, Sunkist pod placement was ridiculous. Thanks for sharing that.

Splater, the MP post is referring to the alien style Totems which are cool but not what I'm after. Thanks though...seems like they are definitely in catch up to demand mode. Nice to see a climbing company with problems like that.

I will check with our U.S. sales reps. on who has them in stock. NextAdventure.net here in Portland Oregon and Pagan In Moab UT. I will get the list. I think BackCountr

is one of our retailers. We now have a few online retailers.

Yes Prolite is also a Totem Cams retailer.
Both Totem Cams and Basic Cams.

They have an online store and their shop in
Boseman MT has great customer service.

Yo, Plaid, if you can enlighten us any about when these might be available again, people would buy you a beer just for that. And a whole case if you can connect them with a set. I think it's been close on a year that the Totem web site hasn't had any way to order them, or even any info. I know, if I were them I'd be out climbing too and not making gear for other people.. but even at Fish, say, they tell you how long you're going to be SOL and when they say you'll have it, you do.

They appear to have 2 of the Red 1.5's available.
