I teamed up with them and Sean Leary for a group solo of Temple Crag last week. Honnold on Dark Star. Cedar and Sean on Sun Ribbon and myself on Moon Goddess

I was talking to Cedar at a party here in Boulder right before he left on this mission. Sounds like an awesome adventure!

^^^I don't believe they're thinkin' about the sponsorhips. They're just doing what we all would, if we could.

Actually, what I was thinking was, Honnold is such a solid endurance athlete that he could set a new record for the Palisades Traverse or The Evolution Traverse (or BOTH!). If anyone could, he could.

My butt bones are sore and my junk is going numb just considering riding from 14'er to 14'er.

My dad is 57 and rides 4k miles a year, at a high rate of speed. I don't know how he does it.

I'll take hiking and climbing over road riding any day.

But, these guys are rare specimens.

Chapeau, Allez!

I heard about a guy from Aspen (a patroller at Highlands) do the CA 14ers by bike about 20 years ago. I never could track him down.

Another interesting goal would be just the Sierra 14ers, all by foot.
