Tom keeps mentioning and showing pictures of people on the Lynn Hill Traverse.

When and how did it get this name? From the photo's it appears to be somewhere between the King swing and the great roof.

Was this a new free variation or something?

Yeah , I'm with you. I'm interested too, and it also would be fun to see somebody doing the Jardine traverse - close-up too. This 'Chipped' traverse sounds interesting.

I found it. It looks like the Grey Bands. I saw the pic of the 'Norwegian Woman' in the Tom Evans El Cap Update on the LH Traverse and recognized the big hanging block that is above Alex Honold is this video I saw a few days ago. Just had to find the video. The Lynn Hill Traverse starts at 1:24 in the link below.

Also learned the Jardine traverse goes left well down below Boot Flake as shown on topos - traverses left from just below El Cap Tower.
