This chap displays bully fortitude on this English classic!

I'd fancy a go at it but I'll wait to the morrow.

I really really liked that.

God what a plucky belayer! (svwing!)

One of the - small in the cosmic scheme of things, but major to me - joys in my life was climbing with Tony and Yvonne on gritstone on routes a little easier ;-). OK, I didn't mind the pint at the pub either.

A brilliant start to Braille Trail. Not only does it add a hard mantel, but the runout at the crux of Braille Trail looks like a grounder. Awesome. TFPU!

Talking in hushed tones to that little chunk of stone right in front of your face has always worked wonders on climbs ( especially X rated freakouts) and hideous runouts !!

Man .... I was freaked out.

The fall potential was death.

Was that his mom belaying?

She was relieved when he got to the top ......

Very cool! I've not seen that before.

That would be Pete Whittaker, pre Wideboyz era.

If you wanna be a good offwidth climber, I guess it helps if you are already leading runout 5.13+ before you even start training....

Pretty gripping. I couldn't figure out what he was saying on this crappy desk top. Definitely agree on death for blowing the end of that thing.

Wow, it is crazy to see how flexible and powerful he is undulating upward through that mantel. If you just showed me the holds and said "this is a mantel" I would laugh at you, but it's remarkable to see him flow up it.
