I thought I knew where I was going, despite the non-existent topo, over on saddle rock. I was trying to climb Right On, but instead I went high left on te apron to some slabby thing, and apparently from there on into Orange Flake. I am at best a 5.5 off width leader without a pack, turns out I can't lead 5.8 with one. Over confidence got me pretty hard, and I ended up lowering from the only piece I had left that would fit halfway into what I suppose is TheBusiness.

Now I am in the middle of a week long climbing trip, TR to follow, but if anyone finds my Chouinard stopper over on saddle rock, I'd love to trade a fresh set of your choice for it, since it has some sentimental value to me!

u dropped out on one stopper!?!? that does sound like some "business"
I had to lower myself past a section of steep icy glacier once in a similar situation. I was out there all be my lonesome. was sketchy for sure.

One stopper and a Piton I left clipped in about 10' lower. The stopper ripping would have been bad... Had other gear lower when I started, figured I'd pull it out when nothing popped!

At tahquitz rock now, looking forward to cruising some longer routes!
