anybody(locals?)know the name of the jagged ridge Radar looks up at in the beginning of MASH? Is that hikeable, or off-limits/not fun?

Also what about the cliff and boulders above the actual MASH camp?

It's also where Steve McQueen used to do a lot of dirt biking...

It was called Indian Dunes. Hwy 126 has a lot of cool micro zones for sure. I think other 'war' movies were shot in those environs too. I used to drive that a lot after I got my DL to go surf. Yup, I was that guy from Bako hitting County Line and the Oil Piers.

The helicopter that crashed during the filming of a Twilight Zone Movie segment was at Indian Dunes. They were simulating a Vietnam war setting, so maybe why the two sets gets confused.

Malibu Creek has some nice stuff, and the loop from dam back around to Planet of the Apes area is a good stroll. Century Lake is good for a summer swim even if people tell you that you'll die from sewer-related diseases. The hike to Century Lake has a sign for going to the MASH site, but I never went over there.
