hey there say, all...

i got this here browers, now, opera...
FINALLY i can type now, and i am not stalling out every few keys, seconds, etc...

okay, now, big oops... i decided to do their mail option, as, yahoo
messes up so much as to wanting fancy mail, that i can't handle, and it keeps switching away from basic...

well, folks, i DID the mail, before i made a log in name and account...
well, by DOING this 'wrong deed' when i tried to do mail, on their browser, THIS happened...

this continually, and i MEAN continually, ever 3-4 min???
access denied...
the server responded 530 authentication for neebee @ etc ,failed
incorrect pass word, or log in name
try again... or cancel

then, this box pops up:
retype log in...
retype pass word

LONG STORY HERE:

OKAY, i decided, oops, oh my, and all that jazz, ;)
so, i did the account, made a log-in, password, etc,
and HOPE that this (these) windows would stop...

they did NOT...
but, i loved being free to type and communicate again, without standing here for hours on end, trying to type a few sentences to send, etc...

so, i put up with getting STOPPED BY A SMALL POP UP WINDOW, clicking off the window,
tyeping, getting stopped,
Clicking off the second window, and having freedome,
'til it popped up again,
AND NOW having that happen all night, all day, or anytime i am on line,
and NOT even doing mail, or log ins, anywhere...

so--i have a PAID painting, i am supposed to be doing, and now,
i have wasted the whole day, trying to solve this and MAKE this pop
up widow GO AWAY...

1--i wrote to the support...
2--i did searches...
3--tried the forum (someone did mention the same
error box, but for a different situtation and in some
set up way, that i could never understand how to format, as to
mail, and with no assurance it would go away...
4--then, one person on that forum was telling someone else, to just
delete the whole opera browser and start all over... new password,
etc...
5--i did that, then waited hours again, tonight, trying to download...
i GOT blessed and lucky on the third try...
6--BUT--for some reason it DID not treat me as new, :(( and
i AM RIGHT BACK WITH THE SAME THING happening again, :((
and, IT EVEN still has the same links that i added into their
speed dial... i would have thought the whole thing was supposed
to be new... :(

so--CAN ANY of you all help me get RID of this awful window, or, now, must i get rid of the only brower that is working, or was working JUST GREAT
until ME (SADLY not being happy with what i should have been just leaving along) messed it all up, :(

whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... oh my...
i really need to get back to working on this paid chore, and not
wasting precious time here, though--it is too cold to paint, but i wasted a a good day... :(

you may email, too, or just post here...
i am going to take a break for my poor tired little brain, and my hip/nerver, and come back, soon...

thank you all, so very kindly, and so much...
god blesss....

just a guess but for this Opera error : server responded: 530 access denied

Go to the menu and click 'Tools / Mail and chat accounts...',

Select the account and click 'Edit',

Click the 'Servers' tab and enter the info below into the 'Outgoing SMTP server' boxes (bottom part of window).

Server: mail.btinternet.com
Port number: 25
Authentication: Auto
User name: your username
Password: your password

Leave 'Secure connection (TLS)' unticked.

If the BeeOtch method doesn't work, just keep pouring water on it until you get the results you desire.

hey there say, guys... say:

younger other brother, just is helping me with computer...
and, while is tackling one area...

say, does anyone know WHAT this is all about?

1--my desk top always TOOK about THREE min. :O to load, oh my,
and the internet faster-speed tech guy, that showed up,
did of course, notice this... so he said, of course, that it is
something i can look into... and get fixed, but--he did not know
what it was...

so, a bit more ahead, to NOW--the last month, or so, when i turn
it on, the computer is 'starting with the start-logo-type words'
and THEN the screen is all BLACK for about SEVEN mins, :O

then, the desktop is ready to use and it gets on line, bast....

2--i quite often get bumped off line, though it is NOT dial up now...
(someone said, perhaps it loses signal, from this area, easily??)

or, bad modem? though he did not think so, when the tech guy,
came back to redo phone wires, since they were set up 'in a round-about way' from whoever lived here before...

3--brother got me the link to spybot search and destory...

4--sound is always stopping, on videos, but then, i get bumped off
line, so THIS may be a computer?? issue...

thanks guys, ALSO:
since the updates used to happen, by dial up...
some never finished???
and a few things do NOT work:
like:
systems restore, cannot be found (so the pop-up window always says)
disc clean, same issue...
disc defragment, though did work...
a few other things, same thing--"file cann't be found, etc"

thank you so very much, for any info, or, you can email,
from this ol' taco...

:)

edit:
oh, and wow, the OPERA browser thing, was by surprise, fixed on night,
the window that i needed to use, to STOP the trouble, well, i accidently hit on a link, there and FOUND it... so good, works good now, whewwww,
thanks, guys, so much, and gals, :)

If you have a CD or USB drive in your computer, and want to keep using it without buying new hardware, I suggest this:

1) Find a local computer geek to help you.
2) Tell them you want a "customized Ubuntu Live CD" which can be made using this tool: http://sourceforge.net/projects/uck/
3) You can work with them to see what programs you need. I suspect you will be satisfied with a full-featured web browser (e.g. Firefox) and an office suite like Apache Open Office (https://www.openoffice.org/download/);
4) They should set up your local hard disk to be mounted as a data directory, and make a link from your home directory to this directory in the Live CD.

When you have a set up like this, you can download and run whatever you want even if it destroys your computer, and when you reboot it, you will be back to the prior state.

The main problems you may encounter are for stuff like connecting a camera to the computer, connecting printers or scanners are a little more complicated, etc... But your local computer geek can get all this stuff working once, then use this setup to create the "Customized Live CD" so that is a snapshot of what you roll back to with each reboot.

You also would have persistent storage for your pictures and files using the local hard disk, but the local hard disk would no longer be bootable.

Certainly a cheap new computer would be less expensive than paying market rates to a person with the skills to create the setup as described :)

But if there is a bleeding heart techie nearby, it's an option.

hey there say, NutAgain! thanks for all the new info, here...

the computer is new, as of last one and half?? year, my daddy had helped me... not sure why the start-up is lagging...

sure hope it is simpler to get fixed, that needing a new, one, :(

here's hoping though, and hoping that my other younger brother, might
find some answer, he is
kind of,
one of those computer techy type guys, :)
just that he lives far aways, :(

hey there say, pyro... :)

i knowww... i knowwww... really NEW is better, you are right, there...

but as to money, for me, and buying more new again, i DO hope it is better to fix it, meaning:
an adjustment somewhere...

:)

aw, but you, sometimes i do see the sky a bit different colored, at times, i think i get that 'hazy bit of sunny hope' at times,
trying to mix into blue... :))

thanks for sharing, and happy good eve, :)

will let you all know, how this goes, :)

Wow. Feel bad for you Neebee!

Good that the defrag worked and completed.
Its a start.

But for the other stuff sounds like some eastern euro gang
is using you computer as a bot.

Unplug your internet cable when booting up. Is it faster?

Open Taskmanager and make a note of any new weird unneeded processes.
Shut down these weird suspect processes in Taskmanager.
Then use Search to find the location of those weird processes
on your hard-drive and Delete them.

Reboot and do this all again and maybe again...and again if needed.

and/or

Download and run free anti-malware programs like these:
AVG Anti-Rootkit Free
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

and clean up your registry with
Eusing Free Registry Cleaner

Good luck!
