On Skis across Greenland by Michael Arnör

In the summer of 2011 me and my friend Joakim set out on a journey across Greenland. Armed with 2 pairs of skis, 300 pounds of equipment and boundless optimism we took on the 400 mile trip across the worlds second largest body of ice. After 3 hours we had lost one of our 6 bags, 4 of our 30 gallons of fuel and bent a pole. Good thing we only had 398 miles to go :) Our story about the rest of our trip is one of raving snowstorms and windless sunny days, of frozen boots and card games in thetent and of giant meltwater rivers and endless crevasse fields but above all about 2 guys alone, on a giant, flat, cold, white desert. Sounds like fun?

Nope.. not so big on glacier slogging while dragging sleds.

But I do appreciate the adventure of it and the difficulty.

Wish I could get down there.. perhaps you'll come up Tahoe way sometime?

I don't think there will be other shows, but I could be wrong...
