I do believe he is down at the pit. I'll either stop by or ask someone to give you a call.

Does have your contact info?

Thanks a ton. Yeah, he's got my phone number. Tell him it's kitchen tile.

Bob, I spoke with him last week in JT at the pit. He said he was headed north soon and mentioned stopping at your place on the way to Nevada for materials.

Phil has been busy making some beautiful stone bowls. My wife bought this one from him a few weeks ago. It is amazing how different the shape looks when viewed from different angles and in changing light. Phil is a real artist.

edit: Should've put something in there for scale. The long side is 9".

And one of his pieces. I remember seeing these as a 17/18 year old and being BLOWN AWAY!

Does Phil have a website.

That page looks like a brand new one which one of the Pitted People is doing(I recognize his URL).

Which is going to be a problem at some point, since Phil doesn't even have a computer! And sometimes no cel phone. I told him he just needs an agent who will do all the work after he does all the work and take a monstrous cut... He didn't seem interested.

Just have to Google him to see work, but get in touch id a different story!

Phil is an enigma wrapped in a puzzle. Truly an amazing individual.

Thanks for the update James!

Anyone else think that the face on the 'archer' sculpture looks a lot like Bridwell? Similar eyes, nose, stache? Happily I can't comment on the rest of the figure!! ha ha.

Here's a pic of a very young Phil B on top of Phantom Pinnacle.
