I met a young woman (I've forgotten her name but I believe that she is the daughter of one of the rescuers) at last year's American Alpine Club dinner in Boston who is working on a documentary film of that rescue. I know that she was looking for background information concerning the Teton climbing scene during that time period, as well as about the people involved in the incident.

Thanks, Happy.

ST's "AKTrad" (Ralph Tingey) was a major player in the North Face rescue.

Pete Sinclair's book is a Teton classic, Crock...

...incidently, thank you for making me aware of Ron Francell's book about the Amy Burridge/Becky Thompson murders in Fremont Canyon. Almost through it...sad and devastating...but a gem of investigative research years after the crime.

And don't forget my book, 1960's Teton Rangers Were a Buncha Cream-Puffs.

I'm afraid Mr Sinclair's book is outselling it 100 to one
