Willoughby added a lot to the taco. His absence is noticed. (He last posted in August). I really miss his contributions (especially on the birds thread). Hoping whatever keeps him away is 100% goodness!

Here's to Willoughby!

Man, I sure hope that the 'Tards haven't dicouraged Will.
I always dig your stuff. No worries, though. If we don't see you here, we'll see you out in The World. Where it's real.
It's all good.

I was bummed that while we were in his neck of the woods, he was elsewhere. Would be fun to be out in the woods with him. Next time...

Sorry folks, and thanks for the kind words. And thanks to Crimpie for the cattle-prod email. I sometimes question the worth of my contributions here, since it's always birds, or music, occasionally skiing or kayaking, but almost always something else non-climbing-related. But like they say, it's just a big campfire.

Anyway, all's well with Willoughby. I've been mighty, mighty busy trying to move my non-profit (Tahoe Institute for Natural Science - tinsweb.org) forward, and since my wife moved out a little over a year ago (a good thing, it turns out), my social life has received a major shot in the arm. Precious little climbing last season, but I've definitely been spending a lot more time in The World. Also, for a while, Silverlight wasn't letting me post photos via Safari, so that was a bit of a turn off. I mean what's the point of the Taco if I can't post photos to the bird thread?!!?? Looks like that's been fixed. I shall return posthaste.

Thanks again, and I'll try to check in more regularly!!

Willoughby, good to see you post!...I always appreciate your bird pictures, music picks and thoughts...

Speaking of music, is your band still together and are you playing in Tahoe this summer?
I would love to hear you play some plinky - plink trad stuff.
