I've seen this Vertical Limit-esque ad a few times. it's beyond silly but still gives me a chuckle:

I just don't get why they don't cache the beer by the door, saving them all the trouble?

Did anyone know that our own Prezwoods is one of the actors in that and the other Coors light climbing commercial?
Yep, that's him.

So we're saying Coors employs real climbers even if they don't make real beer.

Check.

Didn't remember it was Prezwoods but knew one of the actors in the new series of ice climbing-themed commercials was a Supertopian. Certainly remember Kevin Donald spouting 'It's Curz!' bitd. He had a good run being a model and actor until he started losing his hair.

Well, it is Coors Light.

I wonder what an ad for Fin du Monde would look like.

We shot this in the Garden of The Gods. Although it looks easy enough, it took me 3 dozen attempts to catch the ball. I am right handed but had to catch left handed because of the light. A Rockies outfielder threw the ball each time and I would have to time my push-off to meet the ball. This was a great gig. Worked with Doug Snively, Duncan Ferguson, Douglas Nedercutt. We rigged the stunt using some of the gear we brought home from Cliffhanger.

We shot this Ford Sport Trac commercial on the "Super Nova Wall" next to the Rostrum, and at the base of Middle Cathedral in Yosemite.
Really a fine crew. Mark Chapman was head rigger, Ron Kauk and his son as well as others from the Valley's Finest carried gear, Kenji Haroutunian, Hans Florine and another lad whose name I do not recall, worked as climbers with me. What a great time we had. I have been so fortunate to have hung-out with such great people while working as an aerial rigger and doing climbing stunts in films and television commercials.

Turok is now a Hero!

Wish someone had those photos from when he was an underwear mod.

He used to surf Eldo right below the Tail.

He was very influential down at ERock back in the '70s. We always loved his Texas Tour, along with his great partner Sir Jello, we learned a lot from that Coors drinking hollywood hardman.
