An important member of this forum (a little bird) told me that Jeremy had deleted all his stuff.
Wow, just wow.
Guess I haven't been paying attention. I did a minor surf on the "Wait, aren't you on the taco?" I didn't read everything. I will when I have time.
It appears that at least Mechrist, Burchey and Vitaly were piling on.
I know Jeremy personally. He's been on this board a long time.
He's a bad ass and brave climber. He's also a good friend. He likes to have fun and talk a little smack, but the vast weight of his activity here has been fun, positive and climbing related.
He has put up how many trip reports about first ascents that he and Paul Gagner have done? He climbed Zenyatta for his first attempt on El Cap.
I have personally put up five trip reports about climbs that Jeremy and I have done.
Now he's gonna be run off by a couple people I've never seen climbing content from. At least I've seen many TRs from Vitaliy.
Phuk that sh#t. I'll bail before I let these people who don't even post climbing content run off Jeremy without calling them on it.
I concur 100%.. Jeremy loves to get his quips in, and they are always meant with a tongue in cheek flavor- at least thats the way ive seen it. His testicular fortitude is well, he climbs MUD! Far beyond my sackage..
I hope that NO ONE goes away here. Im on the far half of life and experience enough "leaving" as is..

No idea why he got into it with a couple of relative newcomers on the "Wait..." thread, but that hardly seems like a reason to nuke everything he's put up. Surely there must be something else.
While back, your buddy starts giving me hell about being a douche bag, etc. Hadn't said a thing to him. You can check his old posts if you're bored.
He followed me around a bit, same nonsense curse-word/braindead posts. Wasn't sure what his deal was.
I started posting up his stupid thumbs-up pictures in responses to his garbage.
For some reason, I got a little white-knighted by a couple users, and he bailed it would appear.
He's actually probably the smartest out of all of us - climbing more instead of wasting his time posting.
I hope he realizes that there are still plenty of pictures of him online (thanks google) - ripe for photoshopping onto pictures of penises and the like.
Right up there with getting a degree in Doobie Rolling While Getting a BJ While Playing Frisbee.

I don't care if you know him, biblically or otherwise, he still posts sh#t... so he gets sh#t. Hell, I'm the nicest guy I know and I get plenty of sh#t... because I post sh#t.

There are certain entities on this forum that thrive on being hurtful.
I am somewhat comforted by the knowledge that they probably hurt worst of all.

Ya'll should take Jeremy's c*#k out of your mouths and do a search... douche baggery in every post, at least for the last month or two. So what if you know him? So what if he is cool IRL? If he posts sh#t like that he is going to get sh#t like that back... no matter how nice he is in person. I have nothing against the guy, I've never even met him... but when sh#t like that starts flying, I just can't resist joining the fun.
As far as Jody goes... I feel bad for giving him so much sh#t. His religious crap was just too much to take. But he was a good guy and had great photos! If only those kind of people weren't convinced they had to spread their fairy tales as truths...
WTF, I don't care if jeremy bails or not. But wondered how he did it. I have asked CMAC to delete my posts and account repeatedly, but it never happens. Anyone know how, without posting a blue butt plug?
Just hooked up with Jeremy for the first time to go climbing. I found him fun, funny, dependable, motivated, crazy and reasonably safe. We had an excellent adventure, I don't want to reveal more because its not finished yet. But I think its pretty proud to meet up with a dude for the first time and go out and fire off an FA . . .
Jeremy is a lifer, just like many who post here. It isn't hard to tell a climber turned internet lurker, from an internet lurker turned climber. Real climbers like Jeremy tend to be a bit antisocial. We just don't get social interaction sometimes, and the internet adds a whole new dimension to that.
Climbers like to keep it real. So not being honest about who you are and not owning your sh!t (the topic of the other thread) rubs some of us the wrong way.
