In my book, Ron Paul gets a mixed vote. But much of what he says is very important for this country's future.

here is his final speech to the house.....

Mixed vote for sure.

Why do we suck at sorting out the great ideas that a man has from his nutjob ideas and stuffing everyone in a party shoebox?

Ron Paul won the Republican nomination for POTUS over Romney by a landslide.

Mysteriously after counting the votes Romney wins .......

I don't agree with Ron Paul on everything but give him major respect and kudos for getting some critical issues right that the other pussy politicians are too chicken to even mention

Peace

A person who believes in almost NO GOVERNMENT is likely to agree on some points with everyone who dislikes something about government.

Not that impressed.

Nothing to see here folks. Everything is fine. Move along.

Financial Armageddon? Pfft, not us, can't happen. Right? Just keep borrowing and borrowing, letting our trade imbalances occur...nothing to worry over.

Those dewshbag constitution thumpers ought to go read the bible. What a waste of skin.

Besides, Ron Paul has a merkin for an eyebrow.

Too bad he ran on the GOP ticket. Very little diferance between the Dems and Repubs. Both are too busy filling their pockets with special interest money and not listening to the interests of the people.

When are we finally going to say enough is enough and stop this nonsense?
As Edward Abbey said, "A patriot is one who is willing to stand up to his government in order to save his country". Or something to that effect. It's time to save our country.

I could never vote for him for president. His Libertarian ideals are often absurd--and inconsistent. Replacing environmental laws, including the clean air act--with nuisance laws--would be an unmitigated disaster.

BUT: I am glad he was in Congress because he provided a different and much-need voice on several issues, when few others were speaking out.

Wait, I thought Ron Paul wanted to sell off all the public land?

Where would we go climbing then?
