so three years ago tonight i went into oncoming traffic at 90something mph in a crx up here in the canyon, 1130 at night and sober...
as#@&%e move, yes. i was really just tired and sick of it all and probably more suicidal than reckless...empty road, I *got* this...actually I just don't care (foot goes down, car goes forward...) i had just gotten a soft cast on my right foot too, had a broken toe all summer and finally had it xrayed...looked at speedometer (ooo faster than i thought !), looked down at foot, looked up...
I saw the oncoming headlights. Suddenly it was not about me. Going out is fine, I have no issues with people that own their life. Respect the decision...

Missed the groom in the first SUV. NICE. Clipped his mom, dad, and grandma in the second as I folded the crx into a little ball and left the road at 70ish. wake up in the ditch, upright, one suv with airbags deployed still on the road, no other one around...everyone else is moving...
no one was nearly as pooched as I was. I climbed out the passenger window because the driver side wouldn't roll down and the passenger side was on top of me. the right rear wheel of the crx was over and in front of the driver's side window...there was little more than a seat and a hood left...
I blew .98 (93?) on the report, on record. i should go look...punctured lung and 2 glasses of wine on an empty stomach while warming up the car - gurgle, not to mention the whole fold your body over the stickshifter thing, 3 verts, 2 ribs, bunch o teeth, nose they never reset (so hit My Left dammit - your right. it needs to go 3mm over)....blood test came back .07...no sh#t. pled no contest anyway, not going to make those people come back here for a trial...as any god you name as my witness, i slammed the 2 glasses because i woke up sober from a 4 hour nap and had company on their way over...quick lap in the car since it was in a snowbank, then back here for chocolate cake and watch formula 1 (its on this weekend too - go watch !) ten minutes tops...i felt like i was cold sober in the accident and getting progressively buzzier as the post accident unfolded - Do Not Want, Highly NOT Recommended...
This is the only traffic ticket I have ever received. EVER. Those of you that have been in the car know this is funnier than it sounds :-) (ps - its the one on the right. You push it to the floor and the car goes forward - try it sometime ! damn tourists in my canyon...)
ever been in an accident and see it all the way in ? there's that horrible moment where your brain computes all the vectors, does all the math and you see where this is going and this is about to get oh SHI-
so there. yeah. that's part of where I been for 3 years -) venting...some of you are strangers but a lot of you i call friends, and i don't call a lot of people around me friends...miss you guys, miss it all, hoping i get one more day in the sun with you people...

most people here look at me weird. you guys are weird too ;-)
this is probably the single worst thing I think I have ever done. Seriously. Yeah, accidents happen...but still...and it bugs me...
yo jer - alonso has the fastest hair...but he is not faster ;-)...i hate the taste of redbull too, thus i'm a mclaren fan...and jessica is HOT...but sergio and paul could place or show, kimi...shui...kamui..madness i tell you ;)

It's been four years since I've been on a snowboard. One moderate run and after that no fear on dropping into a double black. can't wait. bring on the powder.

It's OK bro. I too have caused unintended pain and suffering. In more ways than one. Sometimes I feel the hellhounds are on my trail.
But I am still here on Earth and I hope I can do enough good to right the wrongs I have done in the past. Peace.
