Like with many words...it is often useful to look at some of the other definitions used in the dictionary...but your enthusiasm is commendable

it's spelled "pravda" and it means "truth". you're probably being influenced by the bravado of your self-image.
also, the word is "alpinista". such "a"-ending -ism-related words ("sandinista") in spanish will take the gender of their referent, which would be reflected in the adjective. "viejo alpinista". spanish gets tricky that way. if you drink "negra modelo", "negra" refers to the understood "cerveza", while "modelo" is the name of the brewery.
dr. F may have a difficult case of offtopicaholism, but character attacks are off-topic too.

Why don't you take all that energy you put into being smug and antagonizing and put it into being humble and helpful? You'll be much happier and more fulfilled and isn't that what it's all about? I know it's not easy, but you owe it to yourself and those around you.

Creating multiple threads just to flame somebody is one of the best reasons I can think of to ban somebody.
Take a deep breath, delete this crap, and go stalk him over on the politics thread where you'll live longer (but not forever if all you can do is flame)
