Just a quick shout out the the guys that keep the SuperTopo virtual campfire going. These are the companies that buy the ads which buy the bandwidth (another log on the fire, if you will).

So show some love for the companies that show us love. Please help support this site by clicking on the ads and checking out our sponsors.

American Alpine Institute - Guided trips to some of the best multi-pitch climbing in the west (Red Rocks and High Sierra). And many other courses.

ClimbHigh - Their outlet has prices often 50% of retail. Gotta love that.

ClimbX - Joe's been a big supporter for years. Can't wait to see the new products at the trade show.

Mammoth Mountaineering - Love this shop. And love the slide shows they put on. Once saw Kurt Smith, Bachar AND Peter Croft in one night! Beat that!

PCGI - Long time supporter of the Taco. Check em out if you are looking for a climbing guide.

BlueWater Ropes - They provide the Dominator which Tommy Caldwell used in my 3 TR's: Nose and FreeRider Free-in-a-day, Working on Free Mescalito, and South Face Watkins

Recycle Resoles - Mail in your shoes and give them a new life!

And as always, if you are going to shop online, please use our PriceFinder. It costs you nothing AND saves you cash AND adds another log on the fire. Thanks for supporting SuperTopo. It's been a lot of fun and helped me from having to get a real job!

Admittedly, I clicked on a Climb High ad. It was a source I hadn't seen before. Now liked on Facebook.

I always support PCGI and they actually support me too! Also I bought new clothes from Mammoth when all my gear got jacked by a meth-enthusiast in Tahoe in 08!

Just doing my part!

BlueWater Ropes just became a sponsor of SuperTopo. Thanks for BlueWater for throwing another log on the virtual campfire!

They make the Dominator which Tommy Caldwell and I used in my 3 TR's: Nose and FreeRider Free-in-a-day, Working on Free Mescalito, and South Face Watkins

Just a tip CMac, the gear finder needs some tweaking.

I recently purchased a few items and DID try to use your app first. Unfortunately, it wasn't even close to finding the lowest prices on the web, in fact each item simply showed at MSRP with five or six shops all showing it at the same price. Conversely, both a simple google shopping query and spadout search both put me onto retailers with significantly lower prices to the tune of over 20%.

I'm not a code monkey, no idea about the internals or how to tweak it, just that the results are less than ideal.

hey there say, chris.... i can't buy things, due to not enough funds, etc, but say:

will it help if we just CLICK on the links, to show interests? i mean,
perhaps that lets the sponsors know that we can at least pass their info on?

you, please, or someone, please,
let me know, and i do this for the supertopo here...

god bless...

I can't be the only one who thinks it's creepy and annoying when I click the climb high ad here and am barraged by their ads at every other website.

That's the internet, Berg. It's like the floating detritus of our psyche. You wanna hear odd? I saw a guy I hadn't seen in a while just the other day. I get home and facebook is asking me if I want to friend him. My good pal FB had never asked me that before. WTF? How did facebook know that shiz? So, of course, I friended him. You gotta have "friends".

+1 for Mammoth Mountaineering.

They helped me figure out a problem with my tele-skis and gave me an awesome deal on Deuter backpack.
