I avoid downtown like the plague. My only experience downtown is the bike ride from the union station light rail, to the baseball stadium, to falling rock tavern, back to light rail. if its not on that route, i have no idea where it is

Fun vid! Looks like more of an actual jam for the feet than the hands. Am I seeing that right?

Thanks for the post.

Big ears--it really isn't hard to find. Take the light rail to the Colfax
& Mariposa station. Get off and take a bus or walk to the Central Library
at 14th & Broadway. (East then south from the light rail). Walk south
on Broadway and you should be able to see the rocks.
Have fun.
(Years ago I did a similar type of crack on a bridge over
Rock Creek Park in DC. We were busted by the cops, but
fortunately let go--had it been after 9-11, we'd prolly still
be in jail). . .

WOW

No pit bull at top to greet the unsuspecting building climber.

No bikini clad girl on a roof top swimming pool.

No homeland security swat tasks force of 30 guys with heavy armor.

No bar up there.

Nothing

Definitely lame .....

Not downtown, but it is in Denver.

Looks fun, but is there anything holding in those left-hand bricks besides mortar? Probably no big deal, but seems like an overzealous, outward-weighted handjam/lieback could pop one of those suckers out.

There was a similar crack, three stories high, when I was at Berkeley, but right in a corner, so it could be liebacked or jammed. Liebacking was probably easier, but far less secure for we unroped builderers. I don't remember what street it was on, maybe Durant or Channing, but it's been at least 41 years since I did it.

Neat. Looks like a burly flare to the right. Did some buildering in my wild yoot. Got on the front page of the Honolulu paper back in the 80's for climbing the Queen Emma building. My high school buddy took pics and got the paper to publish them! We were so stoked. We walked in with a "story" about seeing some crazy guy climb a building. That was my 15 minutes of glory. After age 17, it's been up and downhill all the way.

If you got busted at this particular time, they'd think you were like this dude in Longmont. He got up on the roof ok but somehow fell into the inside of a wall.

BITD I almost got a B&A charge for climbing a building. Ended up getting reduced to trespassing, possibly due to the fact that I didn't break anything or enter anywhere.
The building owner said he didn't want to press charges but the cop gave me a ticket anyways. What a d#@&%e.

I was thinking of something witty to say about it being a lie-back and jam crack, maybe a lie-bam or a jamback and lo I see that's what you titled the video :)

Looks fun!
